Launch Report October 2009
The last two launches of this decade have concluded with great success. The weather cooperated and allowed us to fly these last days of 2009.
Below is Rob Gustin and his high power model. Enjoy the movie of the October 25th launch.
As the weather gets colder SMASH will now go indoors and build for the 2010 flying season. Watch the web page for more details on activities.
In 2010 SMASH will resume flying ont hee field at the Michigan Farmers Hall of Fame.
Business From November 8th Meeting
many business items were finalized at the meeting on the 8th. The schedule including competitions will be publish on the schedule page in the next few days. The financial position of SMASH is good and the Education Fund is good, all with consistant surpluses over the last 3 years. The budget was approved with no new large equipment purchases at this time. Although the
group did allocate money to purchase a new SMASH gas grill to have at the field.
Congratulations to Jeff Graham and Joe Mosher for your outstanding work in out reach again this year.
Kit BaSh 2009
I was a small turn out for this years kit bash. This did not slow up creativity or fun. The Rambo style ment all parts from all kits were put in a single pile and names drawn to determine who picks parts first
The next event will be on Sunday, December 6th at the
Wayland Fire Station Conference room at 1pm. The topic will be A cluster models. Randy Boadway will host this event. Models will be sold at cost to those that need them. If you need one please contact Randy at 616-460-2678 or boadwayr@chartermi.net to reserve yours.

Raffle Drawing
The raffle for the $100 prize was November 30 at 10pm. The winning number is 2707. The winner has until December 30th to claim their prize by contacting the drawing administrator. Click here to claim the winnings!
If the prize is not claimed by 12/30 the next number will be eligible for the prize, that number is 2843. If not claimed by 1/30 number 2816 will be elegible for the prize.
Thanks for supporting the SMASH Education Fund. This fund allows SHASH to award NAR memberships to kids who are serious about rocketry.
